1. Doctoral and Masters (Thesis): If interested, we encourage that you first obtain approval from a Professor in the department who would be willing to supervise your research and听then complete the application before May 15th.

2. Masters (None-Thesis or Aerospace): If you are interested in either the Masters (Non-Thesis) or Masters (Aerospace) degrees, please go ahead and apply before May 15th.

Note that the typical requirements for eligibility still hold and that admission will be competitive.

Update #1 - Schulich Library now closed temporarily: Collection, services & staff relocation information

Background: The Macdonald-Stewart Library Building that houses the Schulich Library of Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, and Engineering will undergo significant structural repairs and major internal upgrades over the next two years, beginning May 15, 2019. As a result, Schulich Library is now听closed temporarily. Collections, services and staff will be relocated to the Humanities and Social Sciences Library for the duration of the renovation.

A landmark $15-million gift from 91丝瓜视频 alumnus Les Vadasz, a founding member of Intel Corporation, and his wife Judy Vadasz, will enhance the prestigious doctoral fellowship program that bears their name in 91丝瓜视频鈥檚 Faculty of Engineering, deepening their support for outstanding PhD students who pursue innovative research at 91丝瓜视频.

Their gift also aims to strengthen Montreal as an engineering and technology hub by attracting more top talent to 91丝瓜视频.

Schulich Library of Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, and Engineering to close for two years for major renovation work beginning summer 2019

The Macdonald-Stewart Library Building, which houses the Schulich Library of Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, and Engineering, needs significant structural repairs and major internal upgrades. This work includes stabilization of the stone structure, foundation waterproofing, window replacement, washroom expansion and the installation of a new heating, ventilation and air conditioning system (HVAC).

Professor Arun K. Misra winner of 2017 Dirk Brouwer Award

Professor Arun K. Misra recently received the Dirk Brouwer Award "for his outstanding and lasting contributions to astrodynamics of tethered satellite systems, flexible spacecraft, spacecraft orbiting asteroids, robotics for orbital assembly and debris capture." The Dirk Brouwer Award was established by the American Astronautical Society to honour significant technical contributions to space flight mechanics and astrodynamics. Professor Misra is the winner of this award for 2017.

Professor Marco Amabili member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts (EASA)

Professor Marco Amabili has been elected to the European Academy of Sciences and Arts. This is an important achievement; until now the European Academy of Sciences and Arts included only nine Canadian members, including John Polyani, winner of the 1986 Nobel prize for Chemistry.

Congratulations to our Design Project students who finished 2nd in the Hatch Plant Design Competition during the 67th听Canadian Chemical Engineering Conference (CSChE 2017),听Edmonton, Alberta, October 22-25.
