Congrats to TIE lab student Zhiyang (George) Shi on publishing his Master's thesis "Exploring how Chinese adults living with spinal cord injury viewed the prospect of inpatient peer support programs within a hospital-based rehabilitation setting" on Spinal Cord.

Spinal Cord is the official journal of the International Spinal Cord Society (ISCoS), publishing research on spinal cord anatomy, physiology and management of injury and disease for over 50 years.

The Faculty of Education would like to congratulate the five recipients of the 2020 Adriano Tassone Internship Award.

Established in 2009 by Vincent and Sabina Tassone along with friends and family, in memory of their son Adriano Tassone, to help Faculty of Education students in the Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education gain practical and research experience in Kinesiology.

91˿Ƶ Education's Aaron Fellows, Project Coordinator an​​d Kinesiology Clinic Supervisor from the Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education, spoke to Shawn Appel at CBC Radio Noon about fitness at home and adapted fitness for those with limitations.

"You don't have to do the perfect workout," says Fellows. "Start small and fit in accumulated exercise throughout the day to keep you motivated."
