Student orientation session for graduate students

Friday, September 4, 2020 09:00to11:00

On Friday September 4, we will be holding a student orientation session to welcome all students who are 'freshly' joining our Graduate Programs (M.Sc. and Ph.D.).

It will be a fantastic opportunity to virtually meet our professors and current students. The Graduate Program directors, Dr. Isabelle Vedel and Dr. Tibor Schuster, will provide a brief introduction to the Department of Family Medicine and highlight important aspects of pursuing studies in our graduate programs.

The event will be hosted together with the Family Medicine Student Society (FMGSS) whose members will be providing additional  information on activities and student life in our Department and at 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ.

We will have dedicated time for an extended Questions and Answers round. If you have a chance, please send us your questions in advance, so we can consolidate and prepare answers as needed.
(Please forward your questions to: isabelle.vedel [at] mcgill.caÌýÌý²¹²Ô»å/´Ç°ùÌýtibor.schuster [at] mcgill.ca)

The orientation will take place between 9am and 11am Eastern Time (US and Canada).
The zoom link is:
For those students who cannot personally attend the meeting, we will be recording the zoom session.

Note that we will be hosting a second student orientation for more in-depth discussions on September 18h (same time and zoom location). A reminder for this event will follow.

We are looking forward to seeing you all on Friday!
