Indigenous-specific librarians can further support your academic needs byÌýproviding tutoring sessions. These sessions can involve any aspect of the writing process such as brainstorming a topic, discussing concepts or citations (e.g., Chicago, APA, MLA), reviewing an outline or an early draft for a paper. Also, some students have used the time to practice oral presentations and review PPT slides, while others have concentrated on time management or study skills such as targeted reading. Finally, some students bring CVs and a few have brought applications for graduate school or funding. They are :Ìý

Convocation Reception

Beginning in the spring of 2010, the First Peoples’ House now hosts a special reception for all Aboriginal students graduating from 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ.ÌýThe special ceremony is shared with family, friends, 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ staff and any others who have been involved in our students’ educational careers.
