During candid, 30-minute interviews with leading experts, Claire Webster, Alzheimer Care Consultant and Founder of the 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Dementia Education Program, will explore topics related to caring for a loved one with dementia.

The Relationship between Concussions and Neurocognitive Disorders

Dr. Alain Ptito is Professor of Neurology and Neurosurgery at 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ and Director of the Psychology Department at the 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Health Centre. His research involves the investigation of the mechanisms involved in cerebral reorganization and plasticity in various patient populations. In recent years, Dr. Ptito has explored new methods of using functional MRI (fMRI) for examining brain trauma.

Dr. Ptito will address how brain injuries change the brain, the relationship between concussions and dementia, and potential treatments to restore brain health after a concussion.
