Dr. Leon Glass wins 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Medal for Exceptional Academic Achievement

Congratulations to physiology faculty member Dr. Leon Glass, one of three winners of the 2020 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Medal for Exceptional Academic Achievement in recognition of his outstanding contributions to his discipline, to 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ, and to society at large.
Dr. Glass is Professor Emeritus of Physiology and holds the Isadore Rosenfeld Chair in Cardiology. He is considered a pioneer in the field of applying nonlinear mathematics to biology, and is renowned for his influential research leading to the development of a mathematical model of chaos in physiological control systems. Dr. Glass continues to conduct research and remains a valuable collaborator within our department. Thank you, Leon, for your exceptional work!
