Thursday, February 18, 2021 19:00to20:00

Join us for our first astrophysics public lecture of the year, given by Professor Robert Brandenberger. The whole family is welcome to learn about one of the most brilliant minds in the history of physics, from a unique perspective!

Abstract:
Stephen Hawking was one of the leading theoretical physicists of his generation. From my perspective of having been a postdoctoral fellow in Stephen's group for two years, I will talk about his life, his ground-breaking contributions to science, and some of my strong impressions of him as a person.

The event will be broadcast on the Astro91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ, Physics Matters and 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Space Institute pages via Facebook Live.
