Your document should be named using the following format: LAST_First_PhD X Progress Tracking.
Guidelines can be found here:Ìý graduate_student_research_progress_evaluation_2024.pdf
- CHEM 688 and CHEM 701 (Comprehensive): 15 minute presentation followed by up 30 minutes of questions and deliberation
- CHEM 702: Defense ofÌý Research Proposal.
- May be in the same area (eg, chemical physics, organic synthesis)
- Must not be in your specific field of expertise (carbohydrate chemistry, asymmetric catalysis, metabolism studies)
- Abstract should be submitted prior to the defense (division-dependent)
- Progress towards completion of the PhD degree is also evaluated based on a 2-3 slide presentation (5 minutes).
