Mission Alignment
- Community partners must demonstrate alignment with 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ’s mission statement and principles.
- Volunteer positions must be designed to support and advance student development. Positions have defined roles and responsibilities.
- Community Partner Approval
- It is the Community Partner’s responsibility to comply with all relevant federal and provincial legislation as well as to follow federal and provincial privacy regulations.Ìý
- All community partners must complete their registration in , including the name of the organization, all relevant contact information and an accurate description of duties and responsibilities for each volunteer position they are recruiting.
- Volunteer recruitment by a third-party agency is not permitted.
- Volunteer Position Vetting
- Position descriptions outline key responsibilities, required skills, and expected volunteering outcomes.Ìý
- Depending on the position, community partners ensure that volunteers are given comprehensive orientation, including health and safety, and role-specific training to effectively integrate them into their positions.Ìý
- Organisations offer ongoing support and supervision to ensure that volunteers are well-integrated and able to fulfill their roles effectively.Ìý
- CL&E reserves the right to reject or withdraw any volunteering positions without notice.
- Complaints
- CL&E may investigate complaints about organizations sent to us by students or vice-versa.
- CL&E reserves the right to refuse access to volunteering services and programs to community partners, students or other stakeholders.ÌýÌý
