Institutional Communications

The Institutional Communications team is an experienced and dedicated central resource providing strategic advice for communicating and promoting 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ’s leading institutional and academic research initiatives to the general public, partners, stakeholders and media all over the world, as well as to the entire 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ community.

We support 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ’s academic mission and strategic priorities through effective and impactful external and internal communication outreach initiatives.

We are 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ’s point of contact with the media. Representatives from the media can gain valuable access to 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ experts or find newsworthy stories about 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ’s research discoveries and events in our newsroom.

Moreover, we manage and promote, news, events and announcements, including the 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Reporter online newspaper and What’s New e-newsletters, Alnotes mass email, The President’s Prize for public outreach, as well as via our @mcgillu main university social media channels (, , , and ). We provide direction and guidance in social media as well as media training to faculties, administrative units and graduate students.
