NEW (as of Fall 2024) - MATH 240聽

New Computer Engineering CEGEP students who completed the 200.C0 DEC can receive MATH 240 advanced credits if they have completed the equivalent course in CEGEP (201-201-RE). There is no action required on your part, as the department will run a report for 200.C0 Computer Engineering entrants, and if applicable, the MATH 240 advanced credits will appear on your 91丝瓜视频 Unofficial Transcript. If you notice that this is missing from your Unofficial Transcript by the end of October, please contact us at undergrad.ece [at] mcgill.ca. If students that are eligible for this choose to take MATH 240 at 91丝瓜视频, even though they could have received advanced credits, we will not transfer the CEGEP credits, and we would count MATH 240 as a 91丝瓜视频 course (credits + CGPA impact).

Please note that this is not possible for Software Co-op students, as they are already receiving the maximum number of advanced credits from CEGEP. Exemptions will not be granted.
