CEGEP entry - Computer Engineering

91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ

NEW (as of Fall 2024) - MATH 240

New Computer Engineering CEGEP students who completed the 200.C0 DEC can receive MATH 240 advanced credits if they have completed the equivalent course in CEGEP (201-201-RE). There is no action required on your part, as the department will run a report for 200.C0 Computer Engineering entrants, and if applicable, the MATH 240 advanced credits will appear on your 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Unofficial Transcript. If you notice that this is missing from your Unofficial Transcript by the end of October, please contact us at undergrad.ece [at] mcgill.ca. If students that are eligible for this choose to take MATH 240 at 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ, even though they could have received advanced credits, we will not transfer the CEGEP credits, and we would count MATH 240 as a 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ course (credits + CGPA impact).

Please note that this is not possible for Software Co-op students, as they are already receiving the maximum number of advanced credits from CEGEP. Exemptions will not be granted.
