91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ

Celebrating and highlighting the history and achievements of 2S/LGBTQIA+ communities at 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ and beyond.

Queer History Month at 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ was first celebrated in October 2018 as LGBTQ2I+ History Month. Founded by Meryem Benslimane, former Equity Education Advisor, it is the first celebration of its kind at a Canadian university.

Through a series of screenings, panels, workshops, and community events, Queer History Month aims to raise awareness, advance education, and increase visibility of 2S/LGBTQIA+ communities by recognizing their history and contributions, building bridges, and bringing together 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community members in Montréal and beyond.
