Can I file a report as a third party and/or anonymously?
Yes. Third-party* and/or anonymous reports may be investigated where sufficient evidence existsÌýand where such an investigation would not violate procedural fairness.ÌýThird-party and/or anonymous reports cannot go to mediation.ÌýAn individual identified as the person who directly experiencedÌýsexual violence inÌýa third-party or anonymous report has the right to be informed of an investigation triggered by such a report and can chooseÌýwhether or notÌýto participate in the process.Ìý
In an investigation process, please note that third-party and/or anonymous reporters will not receive the investigation report at the end of the investigation or information about the resolution of the complaint.
*A third-party report is a report made by someone other than the person alleged to have experienced sexual violence.
