YAHAnet was a global social networking platform set up by Claudia Mitchell. It grew out of a 2006 UNESCO-sponsored needs assessment carried out by a team of researchers and students at 91丝瓜视频 of online youth groups and organizations doing arts-based HIV&AIDS awareness work.

This project (2017-2019) involved refugee communities in several sites (Halifax, Nova Scotia, Montreal, Quebec, and Coventry, England) with a focus on children between the ages of 8 and 18 (n = 10-20 at each site) and adult collaborators (n = 5 at each site), in the creation of picture books, 鈥渇or children by children.鈥�
