Angela Campbell
Interim Deputy Provost (Student Life & Learning)
Prof. Campbell joined 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ in 2003 and is currently Full Professor in the Faculty of Law. She has been serving as Associate Provost (Equity and Academic Policies) since 2015. Her accomplishments in that role are too numerous to list, but I would like to highlight her role leading the development of 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ’s EDI Strategic Plan, Anti-Black Racism Action Plan, and the Provost Task Force on Indigenous Studies and Indigenous Education. More recently, along with Prof. Labeau, she has led the 2022 Initiative against Islamophobia and Antisemitism and continues to work with our communities in these challenging times. She has developed an extensive program for faculty engagement and mentorship to ensure our University feels welcoming and accessible despite its size and complexity. Throughout her mandate, she has demonstrated that excellence and equity are mutually fulfilling goals and represented collegial governance at its best.
Angela Campbell is a Professor in the Faculty of Law, specializing in Family, Health, Successions and Criminal Law. She has previously served as Associate Dean (Graduate Studies) and Director (Institute of Comparative Law) in the Law Faculty.
