Theissued its report on a new generation of reforms a century after the landmark Flexner Report of 1910 on medical education. More than a decade after its release, the 91˿Ƶ School of Population and Global Health convened a Forum entitled: Nurturing Leadership for Health: are universities stepping up? The objective of the Forum was to revisit the recommendations of the Commission in the context of an ongoing pandemic amidst other rapid global change and focus on the extent to which universities are nurturing leadership in health.
Over the course of an afternoon, 14 speakers representing a very diverse array of professional and geographic perspectives provided a rich set of reflections and recommendations.
