Research + Innovation

The Vice-President (Research and Innovation) (R+I),听which includes the Offices of Sponsored Research, Research Ethics and Compliance, and Innovation and Partnerships,听is听the support hub for 91丝瓜视频's听research activities. Working in partnership with 91丝瓜视频's Faculties听and Schools, R+I听provides researchers with strategic information, resources and tools to succeed in听their endeavors. We also provide strategy for major research initiatives and support international partnerships.

Specific services offered by R+I include:

• identification and promotion of funding opportunities to 91丝瓜视频 researchers;
• liaising with funding sources and partners on behalf of researchers throughout a project鈥檚 lifespan;
• support for researchers in project and team development;
• negotiation of contracts and agreements with funding agencies and partners;
• review and authorization of research proposals on behalf of the University;
• advice on project management issues; and
• support for a full range of technology analysis and support, including due diligence on new invention disclosures, business development for licensees and new company creation.
