Research Project:

One of the research interests in the CPPE group is to generate a comprehensive study investigating the influence of certain metal promoters on the structure of ordered mesoporous catalyst for CO2 methanation. Therefore, my project is focused on the development of bimetallic nickel-X-alumina catalyst for renewable natural gas production. Main objectives include (1) the determination of the relationship between the catalyst preparation, chemical composition, and morphology; and (2) the study of the relationship between the catalyst properties, structure and catalytic activity.
