Welcome to Canada’s leading research dental school. Most of our research is inter-sectoral and multi-disciplinary in nature, with research programs concentrated in four fields:
- Pain and Neuroscience;
- Bone and Mineralized Tissue Biology in Health and Disease;
- Integrated Clinical and Applied Biomedical Sciences;
- AI and Digital Oral Health;
- Population Oral Health including clinical, community (rural, remote, and Indigenous) and health-care services research, as well as oral epidemiology studies.
The Faculty is home to researchers who are experts in a remarkable variety of disciplines and methodologies including, biomaterials, mathematics, cellular biology, neuroscience, epidemiology, medical anthropology, clinical trials, educational research, and community participatory research.
