Azrieli Centre for Autism Research (ACAR): Transforming autism research, training and care -- improving lives via Open Science

ACAR trainees discussing a document

We are dedicated to building highly skilled teams of researchers, trainees, and clinicians while actively engaging the wider neurodevelopment community.

ACAR connects with autism self-advocates, caregivers and allies, researchers, clinicians, professionals, decision makers, and community members in collaboration with the (TACC), a FRQS-recognized network.

The Neurodevelopment Learning Community

Under TACC, this pilot initiative brings together cross-sector professionals and individuals with lived and living experience to share insights, receive support, and contribute expertise in neurodevelopment and associated conditions.

Collaborating with a national research training hub

The Ìýis a collaborative training environment that supports research excellence, and sustainable and equitable pathways for early career researchers in neurodevelopmental conditions across Canada through multidisciplinary cross-sector learning, mentorship, and connectivity. ACAR proudly supports several research members participating in the program, many of whom mentor CanNRT Fellows.
